Welcome to the Release Engineering team. We enable our application and infrastructure teams to achieve full automation through tooling in order to maintain best-in-class services for our customers. You will be actively contributing to achieving the Nordea Technology Strategy.
As a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you’ll experience a mix of activities but primarily connecting the many components across our infrastructure technology areas as well as working with our development teams, to establish end-to-end automated delivery pipelines. You'll have a chance to work with the latest tools and technologies in supporting our full DevOps strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with stakeholders and infrastructure teams to deliver tool-driven solutions
- Partner with development and infrastructure teams in coordinating release pipelines
- Design and implementing workflows to automate the infrastructure components in release for Dev, UAT and Production environments.
- Translate architecture infrastructure design into automate release workflows.
- Collaborate with our Technology experts in Security, Cloud, Compute, Storage, and Networks areas for design requirements
- Experiment, evaluate and roll out deployment tools demonstrating the efficiency and reliability it brings to stakeholders
- Contribute to supporting our release and change managers and your team colleagues, providing input into documentation when needed

The role is based in the Warsaw or Gdynia.

Qualifications & Experience
- Have a broad understanding of infrastructure technologies. You can walk the talk.
- You are happy having technical conversations on a broad range of infrastructure topics
- Reading an architecture document is second nature
- Good understanding of DevOps and what it takes to run those services
- You feel confident working with various industry automation and deployment tools
- You have some experience with scripting languages E.g. Python
- Knowledge of ITIL and SAFe is always welcome
- Comfortable with speaking and writing in English
- You are willing to learn and grow
