We are looking for experienced developer who has solid IT fundamentals and know IT widely. Members of System Teams are experts and seniors in: software development, continuous integration, continuous delivery. 30% of their bandwidth is spend on coding and reviewing the code deeply. 60% is related with driving improvements related with Continuous Integration and improving SDLC. 10% is spend on release management and incident handling while releasing software in production environments what is happening regularly and according to release plan.

Welcome to K2 team which is a system team in a strong project called Home Journey.
This project serves many applications and services which all together support private sector in becoming Nordea’s clients and also offer them well working online banking products: e-mortgages, loan-promise, credit-case, ‘what can I afford’ and many others.
As a member of system team you will assure quality in software development and will continuously invest in improving delivery process of the software toward production.
Our developers works mainly with Java and Javascript technologies. Are proactive in communication. Oriented on Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment and focused on delivering microservices and integrated solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work together with product owners, business developers, architects and other developers on building new business features for banking applications.
- As a member of Agile Release Train you will work on Continuous Improvements for Development and Continuous Integration areas
- Develop new solutions and configurations in CI toolchain to improve Continuous Delivery Pipeline for java applications and microservices
- Deeply analyse code. Support Feature teams in improving better results in development
- Test Continuous Integration pipelines before providing them to the scrum teams
- You will use: IntelliJ IDE, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker
You’ll join one of the strongest project in Nordea which is working fully in line with SAFe framework (A Scaled Agile for Lean Enterprises).

- You know how to be effective in java programming
- You have ability to design and build integration processes and pipelines for software development
- You will explore existing Continuous Integration deeply - understand how the system is built and how the components work together. We need developer who wants to automate the processes and eliminate redundant work from developers’ desks
- You will be able to implement and present the complete solution during demos and IP sprints while PI planning’s
- While developing Home Journey functionalities, you will work in scrum / SAFe setup
- We are looking for developers who are passionate on DevOps, automatic deployments and have fun while playing with CI/CD pipelines in bigger IT eco-systems
Your experience and background:
Must have:
- Solid computer science fundamentals - data structures, algorithms, design patterns
- Solid knowledge of Java (ver. 1.8 and higher)
- Knowledge of Spring framework (MVC, Boot, Security, Data, Profile, Security),
- SQL, PL SQL
- Strong Knowledge of Microservices‘ architecture
- REST API
- Fluent written and verbal English
- Understanding of software development processes and principles, including Agile/Scrum and CI/CD. We use Jenkins (+ Groove), Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker
Good to have:
- Splunk, AppDynamics for the purpose of logging, measuring and diagnosing applications
- If you know Angular 8 or higher or would like to learn it then we have such opportunity
Nice to have:
- DevOps experiences from other IT companies
