Responsibilites
- Work closely together with the business product owners and business SME's to understand, define and detail business requirements for the Trading Data Warehouse and to define the appropriate data designs
- Structure, design and document the data models that will support business reporting / information needs
- Work together with technical teams to understand the source data, transformations applied to source data and define the requirements for ETL solutions to populate the warehouse
- Develop detailed specifications representing design of data solutions for the technical teams
- Support ETL development activities when needed
- Apply best-practice concepts and standards to data modelling
- Work with the development team to test the software and business processes developed to ensure they satisfy the business requirements, and meet the design/specification
Requirements
Mandatory:
- 5 years of experience in Business/System Analysis area
- Data Warehouse-related experience
- Thorough understanding of underlying data warehouse data models, including hands-on experience with design of data marts
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL
- Professional documentation skills: generating of detailed software requirement specifications/product documentations
- Hands-on experience of major modelling tools for UML modelling (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Magicdraw etc)
- Experience with data modelling tools (e.g. CA ERwin Data Modeller & IBM Data Architect etc)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Capable of working independently with minimal direction
- Excellent spoken/written English
- Ability to travel
Nice to have:
- Investment banking\capital markets experience (trading, risk, post-trade processing, P&L, reference data etc) and knowledge of financial products (like Equities, Fixed Income, Rates derivatives, Credit Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Money Markets, Loans and Deposits & Repos etc) is highly appreciated
- Thorough understanding of underlying ETL processing methods, security, and capabilities of the front-end delivery products
- BPMN, ARIS, DFD methodologies

The project goal is to develop a complex BI+ETL+DWH system which should allow business stakeholders to trace their main KPIs as well as comply with external regulation requirements. Team should figure out the best data models and message formats using industry standards. New solution will be feed by tens of existing upstream systems. Leveraging ESB-like technology it should gather and be able to present the data as close to real-time as possible.
