Responsibilites
- Provide database (Teradata) administration, schema changes, configuration, and environment database support
- Perform regular platform management routines including but not limited to database capacity, performance, purging and table and environment maintenance
- Set out the framework and standards, and drive continuous improvement of the service offering
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Good SQL knowledge
- Teradata experience
- Data modelling
- SQL Performance Tuning and Optimisation
- Data analysis
- Relational database management
- UNIX scheduling and ETL experience
- Linux Experience
- Individual Contributor (IC)
- Database administration training
- Fluency in English
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn. "Whatever it takes" attitude. Problem solving. Client service
- Demonstrated aptitude to rapidly learn technical skills and processes.
- Good interactive/customer service skills
- Process orientation
