Welcome to QA Enablers – Test Environments team. We add value by improving, implementing and supporting the IT environments and applications according to Nordea standards. As Service Virtualisation Developer, you will play a valuable role in implementing the Nordea Test Strategy by providing service virtualisation solutions in various projects across Nordea.
What you’ll be doing:
- Implementing Service Virtualisation using standard roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
- Developing Virtual services supporting different platforms and programs
- Service virtualization implementation
- Workshops with application teams to understand application landscape/system architecture and their SV needs
- Detailed study of functional and non-functional requirements for virtual services
- Understand the data scenarios
- Recording the traffic /creating the service operation using IBM RIT
- Model virtual services/create custom scripts if required
- Deploy virtual services and provide support
- Providing technical consultancy based on analysis and knowledge of platforms, environments and application in order to setup virtual services in test environments
You’ll join QA Enablers - Test Environments, part of the Quality Assurance organization and is one of the necessary building blocks to support the transformation of the bank.
QA Enablers- Test Environments unit is the key driver of Test environment related strategy, governance & services across the bank.
The role is based in Gdynia.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have strong experience in IT Software development Lifecycle (SDLC) and technology
- Have strong understanding and experience with service virtualization and SV tools (preferably IBM RIT)
- Have experience with defining CI/CD pipelines
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have collaboration skills and the courage to challenge
Your experience and background:
- Strong experience using IBM RIT(SV) in designing, development and deployment (across different layers of Mainframe, SOA spectrum with different protocol and data format)/virtual services.
- Strong technical knowledge in SOA concepts(Basic architecture, XML, protocols)
- In depth experience in managing deployed services(RTCP), configuring RIT components/environments & RIT custom scripts
- Hands on experience in programming language (Java/Java script)
- Have hands on experience with the following tools: Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git/Stash
- Previous experience of implementing SV in a bank would be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of Mainframes setup.
- Familiar with ISTQB and Agile (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
