We are now looking for a Software License Manager. You will be working with Software License Management across many areas and platforms with established platforms like Mainframe and new coming platforms within Nordea. You will support the software owners to guide and inform them of compliancy situation and how optimization can be done. You will be responsible for recurring reporting on the software. You will support in contractual activities e.g. report obligations, renewals, support negotiations including reviewing licensing terms and conditions, etc.

We ensure that licenses acquired by Nordea are used efficiently across Nordea and it´s platforms. This position is to cover software with focus on Mainframe and also other platforms with its related license.
What you will be doing:
- You will get the opportunity to work both with established platforms like Windows, Unix, Linux, Mainframe and Cloud
- You will be involved verifying software licenses during activities relating to the acquisitions and divestitures
- You will contribute to automation of Software license management regarding reporting and compliance verification
- The Software License Management team performs reconciliation of software licenses in scope. We ensure that licenses acquired by Nordea are used efficiently across Nordea’s IT infrastructure.
- You will initiate activities to keep Nordea compliant to the agreements you manage.

Your experience and background:
- License understanding of several Software suppliers
- Interpretation of legal texts both contracts and other license terms and conditions.
- Knowledgeable of the terms and conditions in the Supplier contract(s)
- Knowledgeable of license rules and regulations such as the software entitlements and Product Use Rights
- Knowledgeable of the terms and conditions of the Supplier contract(s)
- Knowledge of processes linked to Software license
- Degree in IT Engineering or similar is an advantage
- Knowledge of ITIL and SS-ISO 19770 will be an advantage
- Mainframe experience is an advantage
