Telecom Test Engineer

For our new, growing Telecom competence centre Mobica is currently looking for candidates for the position of Telecom Test Engineer to work in our offices in Łódź and Bydgoszcz.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of testing terminology and tools (e.g. Bugzilla, JIRA, QC);
- Experience as a software tester or rich project background;
- Experience with Linux debugging and analyzing tools (e.g. tcpdump, wireshark, netstat, ethtool, VLAN, etc.)
- Scripting language programming skills (Perl, Python, shell, etc.)
- Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Intermediate English skills for fluent verbal and written communication;
- Willingness to travel abroad;
- IT, Telecommunications or similar background;
- Knowledge of Telecommunication Networks and protocols;
- A customer-focused attitude;
- Willingness to travel minimum 3 months in year.
- Passport valid for at least 1 year
Nice to have:
- ISTQB certificate (foundation level) and/or CCNA
- Minimum 2 years experience working in telecom industry;
- UMTS (3G) and LTE (4G) protocol know-how
- Knowledge of programming languages like C/C++, C#, etc.
- Knowledge about SIP/VoIP
- Ability to travel up to 1 year
