The purpose of this role is to assist in the following a) test all of Phlexglobal products, b) validate that PhlexTMF systems meet client requirements, operation requirements and regulatory requirements, and to ensure that they are defect free and fit for purpose, c) understand the technical aspects that underpin the system, d) assist on other general technical projects e.g. Excel development work, system upgrades and enhancements.
Validation Specialist

Job description
- Be able to understand proposed system changes & developments
- Represent the user in ensuring a good user experience
- Creation of Validation Plans, Validation Reports, and other Validation documents
- Creation of and updating and customising of test scripts
- Assisting in progressing automated testing
- Ability to run automated tests
- Executing test scripts and diligently recording results
- Participating in test cycles
- Investigating, raising, logging and closing defects
- Filing validation documentation and ensuring it is ready for audit
- Training system testers to execute test scripts
- Performing administration tasks dependent on project needs
- Interface with developers and technical management on a day to day basis to explain and resolve technical and functional issues
- Report progress and issues regularly
Requirements
- End to end testing and validation experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment, prioritising and rescheduling tasks as appropriate
- Excellent communication skills and with an eye for detail
- Ability to pick up technical concepts quickly
- Experience of testing on MS Windows environment and Web based environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Higher education / Degree or Work Experience equivalent
- ISEB or equivalent preferable
