Our Client, one of the multinationals successfully operating and growing in Poland is seeking to recruit to its headquarters near Siedlce a highly professional Head of Accounting / Chief Accountant.
- Preparation of financial statements in line with Polish and international financial reporting standards
- Coordination of accounting processes, documents flow, archiving of accounting documents
- Supervision and coordination of accounting department
- Control of accounting entries from Polish accounting act and IFRS perspective
- Coordination of close the book process, analysis of the balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Implementation and development of accounting procedures, including internal control
- Cooperation and communication with external institutions and internal Clients
- Decision support aimed at optimization of financial / accounting solutions and business simplification
- University degree (accounting or finance), Polish or international qualifications in finance / bookkeeping would be an advantage
- Professional experience in the area of accounting on the position of Chief Accountant in international organization (at least 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of Polish accounting regulations and IFRS, up to date knowledge of technical accounting issues
- Easily usage of IT systems (Excel, Financial systems)
- Strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Working knowledge of English language is a must and fluency in Polish
