Compliance Specialist (German Speaker)

As a Compliance Specialist in Marketing Materials team you will be responsible for the review and sign-off of various types of marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with relevant regulations as well as UBS internal policies and procedures. The marketing materials to be signed off come from Investment Banking and Global Asset Management divisions and are written in English or German.

The role is located in the UBS office in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park).

• Keeping up to date with internal policies regarding the production of marketing materials, regulatory developments in the relevant jurisdictions that are being used and new products /services
• Reviewing and signing-off marketing materials for financial products and services
• Ensuring that there is no sensitive/inappropriate data in the materials
• Ensuring that all sources are appropriately disclosed, permissions obtained where necessary and relevant legal disclaimers are included
• Ensuring that the materials are in line with UBS policies and regulatory requirements
• Providing effective and timely feedback to the producers of the material and/or relevant Compliance department

• Master degree preferably in finance, legal or paralegal field
• Knowledge of financial products and terms in the context of Investment Banking and Asset Management
• Experience in financial sectors
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Very good written and spoken German
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint)
• Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
• Very good communication skills and ability to work in the team
• Ability to prioritize own workload on a daily basis

• Experience in similar role
• Knowledge of structured products in Investment Banking
