About this opportunity
Welcome to the Unix Engineering team. We add value by providing and supporting a flexible, high performance Linux platform where the business part of the bank can deploy and run their applications. As DevOps Linux Engineer you'll play a valuable role in defining and improving procedures and in automating processes. You will gather customers' needs and requirements and work with them to translate these into a working and standardized solution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Participate in 3rd level Linux support
- Participate in a SAFe agile team
- Develop tools and automated Linux based solutions
- Help drive, promote, and implement DevOps, CI/CD, TDD, and agile methodology
You will join a dynamic, fun loving, highly dedicated and motivated bunch of nerds.
The role is based in Gdynia.

Your experience and background:
- Experience with Bash and dynamic languages like Python, Perl and Ruby
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Basic VMware, Network, Windows, Cloud Services and Docker knowledge
- Software development tools like GIT and Jira
- Must be adaptable and able to focus on the simplest, most efficient & reliable solutions
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts both up and down the management chain
- Fluency in English
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- 10 years of work-related experience
Additionally desired skills:
- Solaris 10 and 11
- Veritas Infoscale/Cluster
- Eager to learn and stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies
