Effective English is a language school for children and teenagers, created out of a need to teach in a different way from the traditional school system.
The school was built on the belief that children learn languages best when:
- they feel safe
- they have a real relationship with their teacher
- they speak and use the language instead of only filling in exercises
- they are treated as people, not as a syllabus to complete
Our lessons are active, based on interaction, and focused on real communication.
We are a team that:
- works together
- talks openly about what works and what doesn’t
- isn’t afraid to admit mistakes
- keeps improving how we teach children
We are a small, growing school where people and values matter as much as results.
