Native English Teacher for Kids & Teens – Radwanice (Wrocław area), afternoons
From 85 PLN net per teaching hour · B2B via business incubator (no need to set up your own business) · Afternoons, Mon–Fri
No coursebooks. Real speaking lessons. Children speak English. Not someday. Now.
We can only consider applications that meet all four of these:
- You live in the Wrocław area or are moving here. All lessons are in person at our school in Radwanice. There is no online teaching.
- You have the right to work in Poland: EU citizenship, or a residence card with access to the labour market.
- Your English is native or native-level (C2).
- You have experience teaching children or teenagers in a classroom, not only online or one-to-one.
Effective English is a language school for children and teenagers aged 6–18, running since 2017. Our groups have a maximum of 7 students. Every lesson is built so that each child leaves having said something themselves: a full sentence, out loud, on their own.
We're not a corporate language school. We're a small, growing team that talks openly about what's working and what isn't, admits mistakes, and keeps getting better at teaching children.
YOUR ROLE
- Teach small groups in the afternoons, working from our school's lesson plans.
- Have your materials ready before the first child walks in. No searching for things at the last minute.
- Notice who didn't speak, and go back to them before the lesson ends.
- Take ownership of your students' progress and raise problems early.
- Write short weekly feedback on your students.
- Come to our weekly Friday meeting, where we go through the students and lessons together.
- A child gives you one word and you hand it straight back as a full sentence for them to say.
- You'd teach the same lesson with the same energy whether or not anyone's watching.
- When something goes wrong, your first instinct is to deal with it.
- You care whether a child is bored, not just whether the lesson technically happened.
- You want to teach from a coursebook, from behind a desk, or with minimal prep.
- You're looking for online or remote work.
- You don't really enjoy working with children.
- 85 PLN net per teaching hour to start (Junior level). Your rate rises as you grow: Junior → Core → Senior → Elite.
- Team meetings and student feedback are paid extra.
- A start of about 16–17 teaching hours per week, with more groups as the school grows.
- About 2.5 hours per week of team meetings, including our Friday meeting.
- We'll be upfront: months with school holidays, such as Christmas or winter break, have fewer lessons.
- Real feedback for your development, not a performance review.
- Help with the paperwork. The business incubator handles invoicing for you.
Please send:
- Your CV in English.
- A 60-second video, recorded on your phone. It doesn't need to be polished. In it, tell us: How would you get a shy 8-year-old to say their first full sentence in English?
One line telling us where you live and your right-to-work status in Poland.
Applications without the video won't be considered.

Effective English Mira Laskowska
Effective English is a language school for children and teenagers, created out of a need to teach in a different way from the traditional school system.
The school was built on the belief that children learn languages best when:
– they feel safe
– they have a real relationship with their teacher
– they speak and use the language instead of only filling in exercises
– they are treated as people, not as a syllabus to complete
We don’t teach from coursebooks and we don’t teach from behind a desk.
Our lessons are active, based on interaction, and focused on real communication.
We are a team that:
– works together
– talks openly about what works and what doesn’t
– isn’t afraid to admit mistakes
– keeps improving how we teach children
We are not a corporate language school. We are a small, growing school where people and values matter as much as results.
