Who are we looking for?
- 1-3 years tax accounting experience
- Get It Done" attitude with a focus on results
- Detail oriented while able to see the bigger picture
- Desire to understand complex tax laws and intricate book to tax adjustments
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Works well in group situations resolving issues
- Proactive and diligent in self-review of deliverables
- Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
- Creative mindset
- Adaptable, flexible and easy adjusting to changes
- Very good time and task management
What will you do?
- Execute assigned tasks in a manner that furthers our value-added business partner approach, process improvement, and delivery of world-class service
- Perform periodic reviews and recommend improvements/ changes to data preparation, process improvement and automation
- Assists with tax provision calculation and allocation, account and tracks book/tax differences while maintaining tax basis balance sheets and deferred taxes
- Prepare initial calculations of tax liability
- Provide data to support tax and other audit activities
- Assist with International, federal, state and local tax audits and notices by gathering requested information and drafting responses
- Prepare accounting reconciliations
- Assist with monitoring current tax legislation
- Maintain proper documentation and testing of procedures to ensure adequate internal controls and to satisfy requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404
- Respond to preliminary questionnaires, audit notifications and other notices for areas of responsibility applicable to Supplier
