Head of DevOps team would be responsible for building global DevOps practices for the portfolio of applications for our customer Scandinavian retail bank.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Choosing appropriate DevOps instruments trough research and proof of concepts
- Developing and improving of companywide DevOps architecture and standards
- Ensuring accurate DevOps standards implementation
- Developing and executing implementation plans
- Creating an automated delivery pipeline for applications portfolio
- Participating in release and delivery strategy development
- Supporting DevOps as SME trough whole portfolio
- Ensuring that DevOps infrastructure meets SLA’s/OLA’s
- Travel to different locations not less than 30% of time
- Managing a DevOps team
- Fluent English - no exceptions allowed
- Not less than 5 years of hands on experience with DevOps automation
- Evidence of successful completion of projects in the following areas:
- Automated integration, functional, unit, performance testing.
- Automated build on check-in with integrated code-quality and unit test checks and reports.
- Automated releases with appropriate Segregation of Duties practices.
- Continuous integration and Delivery.
- Use of at least 50% of the technologies listed (Linux; Blockchain; BigData; JIRA; Subversion; Jenkins; Hadoop; Datastage; Spark; Elastic; Kibana; Docker; Bitbucket; Teamcity; Junit; Bamboo; Sonarqube; Nexus; Ansible; Logstash; Vagrant; Puppet; Axosoft; Mingle; GitLab; Github; Stash; Slack; Hipchat; Frog.)
- Significant knowledge on Hadoop, Teradata, BigData, Yarn and Mesos.
- PMI/ITIL/Prince2/Agile certificates is a plus, but not a per-requisite.
- Experience in banking is a plus, but not a per-requisite.
DevOps engineering team required in Tri-city area for Scandinavian Commercial Bank. Team will be tasked with building fundamental DevOps blocks for the following technologies and functionality:
Technologies: mainly around Teradata, Hadoop and BigData source code and deployment. Actual DevOps tooling is flexible.
DevOps Functionality required: automated builds, automated unit tests, automated code good-practices oversight, automated integration tests, automated releases, segregation of duties and environments. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
