Hemmersbach provides IT services globally. With more than 3,400 permanent employees in 38 subsidiaries we offer our services in over 190 countries worldwide.
However, our software is not developed for the IT industry; it is in-house software only, which is exclusively used within the company: We develop what our colleagues need! Accordingly we use various programming languages, such as PHP, Java EE or C#. As an IT company we use state-of-the-art technologies like continuous integration with Jenkins and SonarQube, manage our dependencies using Nexus and rely on Java8 and PHP7, and of course we design our new applications with tools such as Enterprise Architect.
For our Internal Software Development Team we are seeking the following:
- It is your goal to provide commonly used information from various sources and formats for our internally developed applications
- You turn cross-application dependencies into one central highway for our data and services
- You are the point of contact for everything concerning inhouse interfaces across different technologies
- Together with the team leader you decide about how and when frequently used functions shall be relocated
- By building a service landscape youwill remove the commonly used database
- You work in an "agile" way; that does not mean you and your colleagues obsessively stick to Scrum, but you adjust the development process in a way to gain the best from all the existing approaches
- Have years of passion for software development and practical experience in the development of OSGI services in Karaf, experience with Java, Camel and at least good basic knowledge on Bus systems
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Message Queues (JMS), ideally thanks to experience with ActiveMQand also experience with Linux systems
- Have a very distinctive way of process thought, a strong team spirit andyou enjoy speakingin English
