(Junior) equipment control specialist
LOCATION: Gdynia
Responsibilities:
- Pro-active equipment planning and steering.
- Optimization of empty equipment flows, maximising its availability, minimising costs.
- Demurrage, storage and contribution costs calculation.
- Maintaining equipment data in the system. Ensuring that stock information is correct and up to date.
- Delivering data supporting laden and empty stock monitoring.
- Taking initiative to improve processes handled.
- Daily and close cooperation with Shortsea departments in European branch offices and HQ.
Requirements:
- University degree in maritime transport, logistics or economics.
- Basic knowledge of transportation and supply chain processes.
- Very good command of English language.
- Good knowledge of Russian or German language will be a strong asset.
- Very good command of MS Excel.
- Good organizational skills, attention to details and scrupulousness.
- Analytical skills and creativity in idea generating and problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to adapt to a new environment easily and openness for challenges.
