Master Data Management Architect & Business Process Manager

Master Data Management Architect & Business Process Manager will define strategies, solutions and processes for managing enterprise-wide data throughout the data lifecycle (capture, processing, consumption) with a goal of maximizing business outcomes with improved data integrity, visibility, accuracy and preparing for FDA inspection. Master Data Management Architect & Business Process Manager will work with business to develop an MDM strategy that is integrated with IT and across all business units.

• Implementing data policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines concerning data collection, access and management
• Setting technical direction for overall MDM solution architecture, defining component architecture, reviewing detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to defined architecture across the complete data lifecycle
• Verifying design of overall Infrastructure and supports the build of the environments
• Working with business process experts to help identify functional requirements
• Supporting Data Mapping Phases with proper technical analysis
• Supporting the identification of objects and data elements to be managed, specifying the policies and business rules for how master data is created and maintained, describing hierarchies, taxonomies, or other relationships important to organizing or classifying objects, and assigns data-stewardship responsibility to individuals and organizations
• Analyzing impact of future topology changes in the environment
• Defining data governance strategies and roadmaps for MDM programs
• Providing input and assistance through requirements, design, development, test, and deployment project phases. Includes data model, data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows using MDM tools
• Ensuring that strategies translate to business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable database designs to ensure that business needs are met
• Ensuring master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality
• Clear and concise articulation, presentation, and documentation of technical opportunities, constraints, recommendations, and action items to both internal and external audiences.
• Maintaining and owning solution blueprint and technical roadmap of MDM applications that fits within overall technology architecture.
• Managing projects to deliver new or enhanced functions to the Global Technology application landscape that are aligned with the business strategy and objectives while adhering to best in class MDM best practices in the industry
• Managing work efforts with technical team for issue resolution, enhancements and projects
• Coaching and advising the functional workstreams through data quality procedures to ensure data is complete, accurate, and timely
• Defining Master Data Governance together with Business Owners and program key stakeholders
• Providing leadership and guidance to the Master Data Management functional team and partner actively with the business stream lead and members. Collaborate with the program and business teams to ensure continuous business and IT alignment

• 7+ years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes
• 3+ years in the role of an MDM Architect and leading large Master Data Management program for a full System Development Lifecycle
• SAP implementation experience
• Knowledge of architecture standard and industry best practices in MDM/PIM domains
• Ability to develop and implement data governance and standards
• Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the current master data environment (including systems, policies, processes, and procedures)
• Excellent leadership, management and interpersonal skills in large multi-national enterprise as well as experience in delivering projects
