MES Application Engineer

Czestochowa – new electronics plant
We are looking for a new colleague in the Manufacturing Engineering Department at our location in Czestochowa.
Your tasks:
- Implementation and configuration of the MES System iTac in GE Czestochowa Plant within the ZF group considering its internal requirements
- Collaboration with several stakeholders as project team, Product Owner, production and planning departments, and external vendors (ex. iTac, machine suppliers,..)
- Participating in all phases of the projects: Definition, Prototyping, Design, Implementation, Testing and Commissioning.
- Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives, review and benchmarking of new features.
- Providing MES consultation services in the local production environment
Your profile:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Automation or Industrial Software
- Experience in the implementation of MES software (ideally iTac-MES Suite) or in the implementation of MES processes in the areas of : traceability, production management, interlocking, quality management and logistic or any experience with production software maintenance on the production floor
- Service oriented with a high degree of personal responsibility and a team player
- Traveling; 10% of working time in critical project phases
- Very good spoken & written English
