Job Description:
The global tower Global Delivery Tooling Service (GDTS) develops, deploys new deals and operates a number of ITIL standard service management solutions on behalf of ATOS Managed Services.
The GDTS Tower has establishing a central SQL database which is used to support the system that automates fulfillment of IT service requests. The core components of this system are developed internally to specifically meet the needs of backend automation technics used at one of the biggest customers of Atos
The SQL Database Expert responsibilities include the following:
- Support architectural changes to the central Microsoft SQL database model and lead the requirements engineering for setup and change management
- Developing and maintenance of interfaces between external data sources and the central database (input direction) as well the interface between the central database and the data consumer (output direction)
- Developing and modifying SQL stored procedures to support quality checks in the data base as well as reusable tasks (e.g. data clean up)
- Providing troubleshooting for deployed and maintained functionality
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors or higher level technical degree
- Strong experience in administrative and architectural topics of Microsoft SQL databases (especially with support of Multi-tenancy as well as huge amount of data)
- Being well skilled in creating views (write and read) as well as stored procedures
- Knowing how to write SQL statements to efficiently extract/insert/update/delete large volume data from/into SQL database
- Experience with requirements engineering
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience and knowledge of Web Services would be a plus
- Experience and knowledge of Oracle databases would also be a plus
