The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for:
- Implementation of new solutions on customer’s side
- Managing and troubleshooting network devices
- Analysis of traffic flow
- Creation of high level and low level designs
- Proactive approach to network evaluation and vulnerabilities assessment
- Proposing service improvements and making recommendations based on investigations and experience
- Automation of operational work
- Producing and presenting service reports
- Preparation and maintenance of the service documentation
Desired Skills & Experience:
- B2 level (or higher) of Spoken and Written English including technical vocabulary
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, STP, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of network addressing and subnetting, WLAN, network layers, routing protocols
- Good knowledge of Linux operating system
- Understanding of SSL , VPN, IPSec, AAA, Radius
- Experience in one or more scripting languages
- Understanding and interest in IT security principles, techniques and technologies
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills, problem-solving attitude
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience in firewalls configuration and maintenance in the enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience in management of one of the following network devices such as: F5, CISCO, Checkpoint, Brocade
- Security related certificates, such as: CompTIA Security +, CISM, CISSP, etc., CCSA/CCSE
- B2 level (or higher) of Spoken and Written German. Communicative (not certified) will be accepted.
