Job description
During typical working day OpenStack Consultant will be responsible for managing private cloud environment, its extention and support for tenants and projects.
Main accountabilities
• Incident handling,
• Change management - node installation, reconfiguration, deployment of networks,
• Assistance with execution of projects related to private cloud,
• Evaluate alerts and prepare work instructions for other team members,
• Designing and implementing new solutions.
Candidate’s profile
Must have:
• Experience on Linux RedHat Operating System administration and troubleshooting,
• Experience on Linux RedHat OpenStack - installation, administration and troubleshooting,
• Server hardware knowledge,
• Basic layer 2 and layer 3 network knowledge.
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Ceph storage,
• Knowledge of Puppet,
• Knowledge of RHEV and KVM virtualization,
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI,
• Knowledge of software defined networks,
• Ability to write and analyze scrips (bash, python, perl, ansible),
• Nagios or any other monitoring tool administration.
