Opis stanowiska


Job purpose:
    The purpose of the role is to support Visa Members in implementation of the Model and in ongoing business operations. The VAS Unit Operations Manager will be a part of the Visa Europe Organization. He or she will report to the VAS Unit Head and will work closely with other VAS Unit functions, Visa Members and other Visa Europe Departments. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to travel extensively between Warsaw and London.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Support of Visa Members in model implementation and operations, especially through advisory support to set-up and execute merchant sign-up activities and orchestrate programs accelerating POS deployment
  • Compliance control and model performance monitoring especially with regard to terminalisation progress and compliance of acquiring members with fund rules
  • Vendors’ KPIs monitoring and issue resolution support (including contacts with vendors) and identification of KPI variances
  • Co-operation with Vendor Management function for escalation of strategic issues and vendor contract terms update proposals

Wymagania


Essential Criteria:
  • Educated to degree or equivalent professional level
  • Operational experience in payment related areas in banking or acquiring industry, ideally a minimum of 4 years
  • Experience in management of IT implementation projects especially, with respect to functional designs and vendor co-operation
  • In depth understanding of the payment services industry and Visa’s role within it
  • Strong managerial skills
  • MS Office computer proficiency
  • English and Polish language fluency
Desirable criteria:
  • Operational experience in acquiring business in Poland
  • Knowledge of IT system environment within acquiring business
  • Experience in new product development in banking for SME customer segments (esp. with relation to product bundling and incentive schemes)
