Portfolio Expert

Responsibilities: 

• Supporting the development of portfolio and footprint strategies for regional and centrally responsible managers;
• Executing individual strategies based on user requirements for regions and clusters, as well as higher-level portfolio and footprint strategies;
• Responsible for the portfolio data in a close interface to data management;
• Contact person for all internal and external clients in questions regarding the portfolio, analyses and development;
• Preparing documentation of business processes in the portfolio area and participation in their development;
• Regular reporting, e.g. target/actual comparisons, performance analyses, benchmarks etc. to the users of portfolio management;
• Support the processing of relevant transactions over the entire lifecycle;
• Participation in the initiation (concept planning, control and acceptance) of development projects in cooperation with the particular departments.

 Requirements: 

• Command of English on the level enabling fluent communication – necessary condition;
• Knowledge of a second foreign language is desirable;
• Proven experience in the real estate industry;
• Completed relevant degree, with additional qualification in real estate economics (e.g. specialist economist/real estate economist) or equivalent;
• Sound specialist knowledge as a portfolio or asset manager in the field of real estate management in an international environment;
• Sustainable understanding of optimal layouts, objects and usage types, with the ability to conceptually create requirement profiles and layout concepts;
• Experience with real estate transactions and the legal framework (asset and share deals);
• Structured , goal – oriented way of working, assertiveness, negotiation skills, self-reliant way of working, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team as well as strong communication skills and intercultural competence are required.
