Responsibilites
- Setup quality assurance strategy with DevOps team
- Choose the appropriate testing tools through research and proof of concepts
- Develop and maintain the automation test framework
- Maintain optimal quality level on all stages of delivery pipeline
Requirements
Mandatory:
- 8+ years' experience Quality Assurance, 3+ in QA automation
- Strong Java skills
- Good knowledge of the Big Data, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platforms
- Trained in data quality, testing tools, and methodologies
- Knowledge of various testing techniques and their applicability (e.g. test/data driven, data lineage, unit/component, black-box white-box, integration/system, user acceptance, performance, and regression)
- Good knowledge of testing custom coded applications (Java and/or C#, including UI Code) is required.
- Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Scala, Groovy
- Knowledge/experience in the financial domain
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and teamwork.
We offer
DevOps engineering team required in Tri-city area for Scandinavian Commercial Bank. Team will be tasked with building fundamental DevOps blocks for the following technologies and functionality:
Technologies: mainly around Hadoop and BigData source code and deployment.
QA Automation expert would be required to setup the multi tool automation testing solution covering all test types on all stages of Hadoop/Teradata product delivery.
