Position purpose:
We are looking for a SCOM systems administrator.
Job description:
- Ongoing administration and maintenance of System Center Operations Manager monitoring infrastructure for a large enterprise environment.
- Designing and implementing new monitoring solutions.
- Management Packs configuration and modification.
- Providing subject matter expertise on performance optimization and configuration best practices for SCOM.
- Identifying, researching and resolving technical issues associated to monitoring systems.
- Continuing self-development on technologies related to areas of responsibility.
- Development and maintenance of existing documentation.
- Implementation and administration of other monitoring tools in multi-datacenter environment.
- Providing training to other team members.
Candidate’s profile:
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Self motivation and ability to work within a team or autonomous.
Requirements:
Essential:
- At least 1 years of professional experience with designing and managing SCOM environments.
- Experience in creating and modification of SCOM Management Packs.
- Experience in managing Enterprise class environments.
- Windows servers administration experience.
Additional:
- Linux systems administration.
- Experience in managing and administration of Nagios monitoring systems.
- Managing of HP DDMI system management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL systems.
