Job Description
We are looking for a delivery focused Information Security Architect to design and evaluate complex network/system solutions from security standpoint. The role is expected to contribute to technical integration scenarios, ensuring security in ongoing and planned projects. This is a hands-on role that requires some traveling to establish close collaboration with the operations/infrastructure/project teams.
SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:
- Establish concepts for secure integration of systems/networks, ensuring end-to-end security for data flows;
- Take part in projects to ensure the proposed/implemented architecture is in line with security requirements;
- Contribute to business integrations after acquisitions/mergers to ensure these are commenced in line with security standards;
- Create a strategy and implementation concept for secure integration of global infrastructure with the external world (cloud);
- Support the global Information Security team as architecture expert;
- Responsible for researching, cost-justifying, recommending, and establishing current and future hardware architectures for all aspects of the company.
- Liaise within the corporate Enterprise Architecture Office and IT Infrastructure for standardization of best practices, editing of guidelines and design of reusable components.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in security and or infrastructure architecture design and support;
- Experience in (security) management of cloud-based services;
- Talent to identify and create a broad vision for a security solution and to execute it;
- Systems Thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking);
- Proven experience of acting as the expert in project teams.

- Ability to explain your thoughts or findings also to non-technical professionals;
- Ability to convince doubters and naysayers that your concepts are relevant/important;
- Efficient communication and team-player skills;
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities Able to work under minimal supervision;

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Experience in architecting, deploying and managing security tools e.g.: vulnerability management, identity management, PKI, log management, multifactor authentication, pentesting, automated code analysis, and antimalware;
- Project Management and follow up skills;
- Experience in solution design principles, practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles with experience in a combination of system and application architectures.
- Good all-round understanding of server management, virtualization, networking, systems management.
