Senior Cost Engineer
Location: Częstochowa or Gliwice
Your tasks:
- Manage Cost Engineering program for one or more commodities (e.g. stamping/ bearings/ tubes/ springs/wire forming or friction);
- Work closely with Global Purchasing Commodity, Engineering and Product Line team members to support sourcing decisions with cost models per plan;
- Cooperate with suppliers to develop their cost model;
- Develop and apply cost models for analysis of: current product, engineering changes, future product design, material cost increase offset;
- Present the project results to middle and upper management.
Your profile:
- University degree;
- Proven experience within engineering roles (Cost Engineering/Process Engineering /Product Engineering/ Sales Engineering/ Project Management or VAVE);
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Very good English in speaking and writing;
- Automotive work experience would be advantageous.
