Senior Performance Test Engineer

On behalf of our Client, world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses located in Gdynia, we are currently looking for Candidates for a position of Senior Performance Engineer.

You will be responsible for assuring that acceptance criteria for system performance are correctly and fully documented and the performance testing is scoped in accordance with architectural objectives and principles. Moreover, scope of responsibilities includes develops and maintains test designs containing Application Simulation Model creation and LoadRunner Scripting, ensuring maximum reusability for subsequent technology changes and assists in the development of performance SLA’s. More specific responsibilities will include liaising with product management and development teams to communicate defects, understanding and adopting project management principles to deliver achievable and detailed Product Assurance plans.

The ideal Candidate will have at least three years of experience in a similar position, an experience of performance tuning, capacity testing, volume testing and failover under load testing. Moreover, relevant technical experience of performance testing with LoadRunner using Web (HTML/HTTP), TruClient and Web Services protocols are required. To be successful on this position, experience of complex correlation tasks in LoadRunner and performance testing HTML 5 and Java based applications are also required.

An ideal Candidate should know general programming, developed through a combination of line work and testing including programming/testing and design/analysis. Candidate should have an experience in creating C/C++ functions, working with database clients and ability to create SQL queries and database performance monitoring. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary.
