- Work with necessary stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints, define test strategy and agree scope and timeline
- Cooperation with business analysts, development leads and project managers to receive and provide all required information to satisfy quality of delivered products
- Requirements analysis and Test Cases/scripts development
- Run tests on the applications on all test levels
- Define regression testing and test data preparation
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
- Perform initial analysis of failed tests
- Communicate issues and status updates in a timely manner
- Raise defects/blockers to tracking tools and monitor their statuses
- Maintain and update tests based on continuous feedback
- Provide the results of tests and analysis back to the SCRUM teams
- Maintain test data & test environments
- Participation in documentation review and preparation
Mandatory:
- Over 6 years of Quality Assurance and Testing professional experience with experience in conducting Regression and UAT phases of testing
- Good experience in requirements gathering and clarification on both technical and business (domain) levels
- Good experience in test design. Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis
- Experience of database testing (SQL)
- Confident, articulate, enthusiastic and able to operate independently, self-reliance (e.g. work without pushing, etc.)
- Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of SQL enough for the data analysis, Unix scripting, hands on experience with CI servers (preferably Bamboo)
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility
- Good organization of work & attention to details
- Customer focus & orientation towards results
- Flexibility & team-player attitude
- Strong cultural awareness and excellent language skills to enable communication throughout the organization and with customers and third parties, ability to work in multiple cultures, and in mixed teams

- Good knowledge of various delivery models and understanding of their benefits and applicability
Would be a plus:
- MSc or BSc degree in IT
- ISTQB certification
- Manual testing experience on large distributed systems including rich client (not pure web based applications) and back-end testing, e.g. feeds, processes etc.
- Experience in using JIRA and HP Quality Centre / ALM (or equivalent tools)
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodology
- Experience in Test Automation tools

They use thousands of grid cores and produce billions of records.
Our client is now under massive transformation and redesign towards a service-oriented approach using loosely coupled services, asynchronous communication and resilient design. We use core java, microservices approach, in-memory grids and other things to achieve maximum performance and scalability.
