SharePoint Engineer

Job Summary:

 

You will be working alongside Senior SharePoint Engineer in EMEA Web Infrastructure Team - international, dynamic, result oriented team of highly skilled professionals delivering best-in-class systems support and solutions delivery for internal clients of Digital and Technology department.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure operations - SharePoint products and technologies;
  • Internet Information Services infrastructure and application operations;
  • Site collection administration as needed;
  • Infrastructure support for K2 blackpearl farms;
  • Infrastructure support for AvePoint Governance Automation;
  • Content migrations;
  • Change request routines;
  • Priority 1 escalation handling;
Requirements:
  • Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must
  • Skills to develop mutually beneficial relationships in the organisation so you can influence and persuade people.
  • Ability to negotiate win-win solutions to serve the best interests of the company and the individuals involved.
  • Optimal mindset enabling you to both, collect and manipulate data as well as analyse and interpret it.
  • Have a passion for learning and ability to continue to grow and stretch your skills adopting the changing needs of the organisation.
  • Exceptional progress monitoring and communication flow capacity to support enterprise level operations.
  • Proficiency in expressing yourself well and respectfully.

  • A talent to use creativity, reasoning, past experience, information and available resources to resolve technical puzzles within problematic areas.

Technical skills:

Core skills - technical knowledge and hands-on practice are required as these will be directly related to tasks and assignments:

  • Core and Advanced Solutions of SharePoint 2013 Server- in-depth configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services - maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Windows Server Operating System - administration and troubleshooting.
  • Office Web Apps Server - maintenance and troubleshooting.

Additional skills - technical knowledge is required to perform day - to day systems support:

  • SQL Server - installation and configuration for SharePoint 2013 and 2016 development environments.
  • .NET Framework - troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Windows Workflow Foundation - understanding and analysis.

Related skills - understanding concepts of additional tools, products and services, used daily:

  • DocAve 6 with Governance Automation.
  • Metalogix Content Matrix.
  • Nintex Workflow 2013.
  • Domain Name System.
  • Active Directory
