Software Engineer
Miejsce pracy: Zielona Góra
ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:
- To cooperate with other company departments providing all needed information at stages of the design, testing and implementation requirements
- Work in accordance with the adopted SCRUM process
- Under minimum supervision develop software which meets functional and quality requirements and adheres to standards.
- Under supervision provide support on projects, carrying out elements of the research, analysis and/or delivery.
- Plan, schedule and present demonstrations of system functionality as required.
- Strive to continually meet the teams KPI’s
- Seeks to continually drive improvement in their day-to-day operations for the betterment of their team
- Ability to implement and manage change effectively with minimum supervision.
- To draft reports and discuss recommendations based on research with their manager.
- Contribute to estimate effort required to deliver functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management by providing regular and accurate updates on the progress, risks and issues.
- To own and provide problem diagnosis and resolution liaising with peers, suppliers and customer/developer groups where appropriate ensuring KPIs and SLA are achieved.
- Provide out of hours on call production support as required.
- To work with internal, external and third party suppliers ensuring clear, effective and timely communication.
- To support the implementation of unit policies and procedures.
- Maintains a reputation for quality and delivery of their expertise to the business.
- Focus’s upon customer in all that is delivered.
WYMAGANIA:
- Good experience of development and/or programming, design and implementation of simple software solutions
- Good experience of working on projects delivered using SCRUM/Agile principles in a dynamic environment
- Good written and verbal English communication
- Good experience of using C# (any other Object Oriented Programming language(s) would be a plus)
- Good experience in source control systems
- Good experience of automated software and system management tools
- Good knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
- Good experience in software development processes like Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration
- Good experience with Visual Studio 2013/2015 and Windows Forms and ASP.NET MVC technology
- Experience of release management, configuration management and deployments
- Working knowledge of database design and file management techniques (SQL Server/Oracle)
- Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems; including Windows, Linux, Ubuntu
- Experience of supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting in an dynamic environment
- Determine when problems should be escalated to a higher level
- Ability to produce quality work to demanding timescales
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and law
