Software Test Engineer

Job description:

• Review test-related documents (general specifications, functional specifications, requirements documentation, etc.)
• Plan, design, develop and automate test cases
• Prepare test documentation: Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Report, etc.
• Execute test cases, analyze and report the results
• Ensure comprehensive tracking of defects
• Implement regression tests, based on risk analyses
• Coordinate live roll-out releases

Mandatory qualifications:

• Solid technical education
• At least two years of professional experience in the area of software testing
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (browsers, protocols, networking, HTML, JS, CSS, XML)
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle)
• Experience with test, requirements and defect management tools (HP QualityCenter and JIRA)
• Experience with test automation tools (SoapUI, QTP, Selenium)
• Experience with project management tools (VersionOne)
• ISTQB certification (foundation level, higher levels would be an advantage)
• Good communication skills
• Fluent English

Optional qualifications (nice to have):

• Two years of professional experience in the area of software testing automation
• Basic script language programming skills
• Basic knowledge of Java language as well as the Eclipse and NetBeans environment
• Knowledge of the agile software development methodology (SCRUM)
