Solution Architect (Reporting) - Business Intelligence [Rekrutacja prowadzona online]
Location: Warszawa
The objective of this role is to define and drive execution of overall BI strategy for reporting solutions. This includes establishing and maintaining best practices in frontend (reporting) development (aka report design standards), and driving organization compliance to those, so that the solutions delivered by EMEA BI team meet functional, data availability as well as performance, scalability, and supportability requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a member of EMEA Business Intelligence architecture team. Contribute to formulation of architecture strategy for EMEA BI practice and for Warsaw delivery hub.
- Establishing and promoting standards and best practices for reports/dashboards design and development (work with devOps to ensure compliance), having in mind data availability, performance, scalability and supportability
- Enforces adherence to the standards by devOps teams; may design the reporting/front-end solutions (Tableau / PowerBI)
- Advise on technologies used for specified use cases (assuming having a broad knowledge about current market trends, and reporting solutions)
- Supports devOps teams in issue/problem troubleshooting regarding reporting solutions.
- Setting up security rules / access rights policy in reporting solutions
- Proactively shares knowledge across the organisation to drive constant improvements
- May engage in projects acting as technical lead for reporting solutions, may be responsible for solving technical issues with reporting environments
- Works thru reporting platform admins &/or devOps team to execute the strategy and ensure maximum efficiency and performance
Requirements:
- University degree from technical or business major preferred. Fluent English is a must.
- Min 5+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, data and analytics, including min 2 years as reporting solution architect or reporting expert (SME).
- Deep knowledge of Tableau reporting platform is a must. PowerBI knowledge is also desirable. Other platforms knowledge – beneficial, but not crucial.
- Experienced in creating designs and writing proposals, statements of work, solution specifications as well as process documentation.
- Knowledge of the current BI reporting solutions and market trends
- Experience in delivering BI or other digital solutions for corporate real estate clients is a plus.
- Technology consulting, or service operations experience is a plus.
- Highly developed interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively and professionally across all levels.
- Knowledge of BI & Data management software, BI software life cycle management as well as project management methodologies. Relevant certifications will be a plus.
- Knowledge of the current trends relating to real estate/facilities industries, best practices and supporting technologies would be a strong plus
