Subcontracts Manager

At the office in Kraków (approx. 3-4 months):

• developing the subcontract strategy together with the responsible Project Manager
• audit, sourcing and qualification of construction companies together with an auditing team
• interfacing with other disciplines (HSE, QA/QC, Scheduling, Engineering) to ensure project
• specific documents (BoQs, Scope of Works, etc.) are prepared for inquiry and compiled in an ITB
• document
• coordinating technical clarifications from bidders as well as required updates and revisions to
• the inquiry document
• preparing and conducting a pre-bid meetings
• evaluating proposals and preparing recommendations for contract awards

At the construction site near Głogów (approx. 8-9 months):

• Contractual and commercial management of subcontracts
• Keeping and participation in all correspondence and meetings with subcontractors
• Manage all changes/extra works on site
• Invoice management and approval
• Cost reporting for site related cost
• Quantity tracking
• Subcontract closeout incl. as built quantities

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Multi discipline background or interest in other disciplines
• International Contract Management skills
• Understanding of Construction sequences
• MS Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables)
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Intercultural competences
• Abstract thinking competences
