Welcome to QA Enablers – Test Environments team. We add value improving, implementing and supporting the IT environments and applications according to Nordea standards. As Test Automation Specialist, You will play a valuable role in implementing the Nordea Test Strategy by providing test automation solutions in various projects across Nordea
What you’ll be doing:
- Implement test automation using standard roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
- Contribute to implement, maintain and improve test automation frameworks
- Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of Continuous delivery pipeline
- Collaborate across workstreams and organisation as part of the test automation and QA Communities
- Carry out automation feasibility studies
- Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution and automation
- Understand test data dependencies for a given context
- Working with international, cross-country environment
You’ll join QA Enablers - Test Environments, part of the Quality Assurance organization and is one of the necessary building blocks to support the transformation of the bank.
QA Enablers- Test Environments unit is the key driver of Test environment related strategy, governance & services across the bank.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have strong experience in IT Software development Lifecycle (SDLC) and technology
- Are a natural in navigating in a complex environment within the test automation and a quality driven thinker
- Have an experience in one of the following languages: Java, Cobol, .NET
- Have experience with defining CI/CD pipelines
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have collaboration skills and the courage to challenge
Your experience and background:
- Source code versioning (Git, BitBucket, SourceTree)
- CI (Bamboo, Jenkins)
- Build tools (Maven, Gradle)
- IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio)
- BDD libraries (Cucumber, SpecFlow or other based on Gherkin)
- xUnit variant (Junit, NUnit or testNG etc.)
- Strong experience in test automation (&/or UI and WebServices (REST, SOAP))
- Experience with LeanFT .NET, or similar tool
- Strong experience with .NET or Java
- Experience with SQL
- Have hands on experience with the following tools: Jenkins or Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git/Stash
- Familiar with ISTQB and Agile (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
