Transport Planner with Italian

For our Client, global company located in Katowice, we are currently looking for Transport Planner with Italian.

Working on this position you would be responsible for one of the most challenging projects planned for 2015 and it will include a secondment period in Italy (ca. 3 months). The objective of this role is to understand and gain the knowledge about the logistics team, customer service, order management and transport planning processes performed in Italy and perform all above listed activities successfully from office located in Katowice. You will also serve as 1st point of contact for project. In addition the role aim is to actively take part in whole project implementation - especially during transport management system testing, training and processes modeling.

After the implementation of the project your responsibilities will include: transport planning and active search for opportunities for movement combining, transport execution focused on smooth and quick issues solving, monitor haulers availability, building strong relationship with local customer service, carriers monitoring and deliveries managements (especially with regards to delivery on time), maintenance of transportation masterdata.

To be successful on this position you should have transport planning knowledge, good knowledge of English and Italian (min. B2) and hold a min. Bachelor degree. You should also have good knowledge of MS Excel and have analytical skills, SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
