Job Description:
- The ServiceNow Tester will be responsible for understanding, developing, and execution of test plans, test cases based on requirement and design documentation
- The expectation for this position includes participation in design reviews and scrum meetings
- This role will be responsible for test plan development/review, test case creation, test execution, test status metrics & reporting, defect logging & management and producing the required test deliverables
- This resource will also be responsible for working with Business Stakeholders to help coordinate UAT, orchestrate the execution and defect logging and triage
Job Requirements:
Mandatory skills:
- 5+ years of testing experience as a Software Application Tester in Service Management environment
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the SDLC/STLC process
- In depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn the application business area processes and its requirements
- Excellent communicator - will be working in a team environment with developers, testers, Client, PMs, and suppliers
- Good team working / interpersonal skills
- Methodical and disciplined approach to work
- Good analytical skills
Optional skills:
- 2- 4 year experience with Service Now
- Advanced experience in test automation based on HP UFT
- Experience in agile development methodology
- Experience in working with customers
- Languages
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills in English
- German will be a plus
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Information Technology or similar technical field
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure in order to meet committed deadline
