Web Designer / Web Developer

Job description

• Converts design compositions into complex working web pages using HTML and CSS tags in a hand-coded environment. Makes some modifications to existing code (HTML,CSS,PHP).
• WordPress Frontend and Backend design/development/testing/debugging
• Ensuring high-performance and availability of all WordPress sites
• Creating SEO optimized websites and content
• Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Work closely with back-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation
• Managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Design websites from the scratch (graphic design -> implementation)
• Update websites and content as required
• Troubleshoot and problem solve website based issues

Requirements

• At least 3 years professional experience designing for web
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience working with PHP, JS or jQuery
• Excellent knowledge in HTML 5, CSS3
• Knowledge of SEO coding best practices
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Fluent English both written and spoken is a must
• Strong understanding of all major design software applications - Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
• Working Understanding of back-end technologies (databases, CMS, etc.) and their limitations/impact to user experience
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A strong sense of aesthetics and understanding of UX / UI
