1st Line Technical Support Engineer

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
• Provide Level 1 pre-sale/post-sale technical support to North America and Latin America MotoTRBO customers
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the MotoTRBO System
• Collaborate with various technical organizations when determining customer solutions (Engineering, Product Groups, etc.).
• Interface with appropriate teams to resolve order status, pricing, shipping, delivery and warranty issues
• Tactfully and courteously interface with customers in order to build strong business relationships
• Exercise multi-tasking skills when managing multiple systems and applications during customer interaction
• Collect, summarize, and chronologically document technical information
• Utilize knowledge databases and, when necessary, consult a wide variety of reference materials and web resources
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• Fluency in English - verbal and written communication
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Effective time management skills required
• Excellent ability to characterize and solve problems, collaborate, and make recommendations. Strong analytical skills required
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
