Global Customer Service Center’s mission is to deliver exceptional customer service to our global portfolio of customers. You will be the connection between our customers and internal departments. You will be our customers’ ambassador and your mutual relationship will be critical to the company’s commercial success.
- The Global Customer Service Centre operates in a dynamic, English speaking work environment and is proud of its upbeat, dedicated and professional employees. You will have an opportunity to cooperate with customers located in EMEA & APAC regions, learn export processes, participate in challenging cross-departmental projects and engage your potential for self-development through a variety of trainings and courses offered by International Paper. You will cooperate with Sales and Supply Chain departments, such as production planning and transportation. You will also engage with Freight Forwarders and 3rd Party Logistics to balance customer’s expectations with internal constraints.

- Working with your own, defined group of regional customers and maintaining good relationships with them
- Managing customers’ purchase orders – through cooperation with manufacturing, logistics and sales departments
- Full understanding of Pulp business, customers’ requirements, market conditions and pulp product specifications
- Working closely with supply chain & sales representatives in achieving quarterly goals and objectives
- Understanding and familiarity with export processes, international trade, container shipments and ocean freight
- Participation in business-related projects
- Cooperation with team members, support, and providing back-up as necessary according to team norms and internal processes
- Bachelor degree and at least one year of experience in customer service / export areas would be an asset
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Customer focus, working to achieve outlined objectives
- Personal drive towards individual results and team goals
- Excellent business communication skills and cultural awareness
- Computer skills (SAP knowledge will be an asset), and analytical skills
- Ability to process high volume of data accurately and efficiently
- Fluency in spoken and written English is a must, additional European or Asian language (preferably Japanese) would be an asset
