Our Client is Fresenius Kabi, a global health care company that specialises in life saving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. Their products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients. Fresenius Kabi establishes a new Shared Service Centre in Wrocław. On behalf of the company we are looking to recruit Account to Report Process Manager.
Position description:
• To supervise the Account-to-Report and Fixed-Assets-Accounting team and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and policies
• Understand overall business goals of the SSC and how the Account-to-Report and Fixed Assets function supports these goals
• Further build up and supervise Account-to-Report and Fixed Assets team (team up to 40-45 persons, including 3-4 Team Leaders)
• Ensure proper staffing (incl. skill set), active participate in recruitment
• Coach team leaders and team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed
• Generate ideas with regards to process improvements and help to implement them towards quality and/or productivity gains
• Design and implement operational targets for the team, ensure proper quality of the processes performed
• Actively monitor and address risks and inefficiencies in the A2R and FAA processes
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting (US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAPs)
• Ensure compliance with external reporting and tax requirements
• Act as main contact for auditors (internal & external)
• Liaise with local company contacts regarding monthly closing procedures or with respect to upcoming issues
• Ensure proper and up-to-date documentation of the department’s processes and procedures
• Participate and lead service calls
• Be a member of transition team for the integration of new companies into the SSC
• Participate in projects (in the SSC, as well as in Fresenius Kabi AG Group)
Qualifications and skills:
• Proven record of at least 5-7 years of job experience in relevant fields
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS)
• Excellent English language skills, additional European language skills beneficial
• Experience in transitioning accounting activities into a Shared Service Center environment (creation of desktop procedures, work shadowing, etc.) beneficial
• University degree in economics / finance with major in Accounting or equivalent qualification / work experience
• Very good knowledge of SAP module FI / knowledge of SD-MM beneficial
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of workflow solution beneficial
• Strong managerial and leadership skills
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
