About the role:
AP Team Leader leads a group of AP process executives for one of Cognizant’s clients - a prestigious multinational production company.
AP TL ensures that the team meets client expectations of productivity and quality, meeting Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators, and keeps the team engaged to drive improvements and increase performance. Team Leader is the main point of contact for the client regarding the AP services provided by Cognizant and cooperates with client finance teams in managing the ITP process.

What you do:
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of ~15 people (hiring, onboarding, goal setting, motivation, performance reviews, coaching)
- Provide a high quality process performance and initiate a quality improvement measures
- Manage and deliver the agreed KPI targets and ensure compliance against Service Level Agreements
- Pro-actively manage daily operations of the team to ensure sustainable performance and fulfilment of customer requirements
- Follow up and resolve issues and queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures
- Identifying improvement fields, promoting and participating in quality projects
- Regular review and reporting of team results
- Participating in internal and external audits
Skills and qualifications of the ideal candidate:
- University degree in Accounting/Economics or comparable professional education
- 3+ years of professional experience in F&A processes (PTP experience preferably) with proven track of coordinating work of a team and/or managing processes
- Experience in direct leadership and management of a team would be a plus
- Experience in collaborating in multinational and dynamic environment
- High standards of collaboration and strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Other European language (German/Italian/Spanish) would be a plus
- Ability to adjust to rapidly changing conditions
- Excellent communications skills
