Position Description:
The primary focus for this position is to be a member of a high functioning network operations team responsible for the network infrastructure:
- Install, manage and support a global enterprise network infrastructure based on Cisco;
- Provide professional operation and support for network infrastructure;
- Cooperate with other infrastructure support teams like AD/Messaging, Datacenter, Telecom and Workspace;
- Work on incidents, service and change requests in central ticketing tool (Service Now).
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems (or similar discipline);
- At least 2 years direct experience focused on large scale network LAN/WAN design, forecasting, and implementation;
- In-depth knowledge and working experience in layer 3 routing protocols specifically OSPF and BGP;
- Advance Cisco Routers/Switching implementation, and support;
- Wireless Infrastructure based on Cisco NCS, Controller-based architecture;
- Nexus Switches 7000/5000/2000, Catalyst 6900 Switches, ASA 5500 series Firewall, 3560E Switches;
- Networking protocols, including but not limited to: TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS;
- Cisco Wireless Architecture design based on Autonomous and Lightweight access points;
- Network Load Balancing technologies such as F5 BigIP;
- Network WAN Optimization technologies such as Riverbed Steelhead;
- Very good English language skills (written and spoken);
- Be passionate and show initiative.
Any of the below would be an asset:
- Knowledge of HP servers and HP Blade Servers;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory;
- Virtualization technology based on VMWare Enterprise products.
