Working with our Infrastructure colleagues and Development customers to deploy .net applications:
- Responsible for production tuning, management, and deployment of Oracle Weblogic, iPlanet, Siteminder and various supporting elements used to create the application/service hosting environment for both internal and external client facing internet web sites and all aspects of client side integration.
- Onboard Investment Banking applications onto the Java application platform (JAP) and iPlanet webserver.
Work with developers to understand their requirements and provide JAP infrastructure consultancy (e.g. tuning).
Deploy JAP applications.
Ability to communicate with project teams on all phases of a project.
Able to work independently on problems, must have problem-solving skills.
Must have:
- Knowledge of Oracle Weblogic 10.3, 11g. Preferably a certified administrator.
- Unix experience in Solaris or RedHat
Preferable to also have:
- Oracle iPlanet server
- Knowledge of LDAP directory server
- CA Siteminder single sign-on
- Knowledge of loadbalancers and firewalls
