Job Description:
- Delivering projects for aerospace & defense companies related to functional strategies, operational improvement, business process reengineering, system implementations and transformations of core business or back-office functions
- Performing the role of project management consultant or project/stream member responsible for end-to-end delivery and interaction with clients
- Ensuring high quality and in time project delivery: work on small to medium-size teams to deliver projects for global clients, independently handle project work stream with limited supervision
- Supporting Accenture teams in business development activities (preparation of proposals, presentations for the clients)
- Delivering internal Accenture projects related to the development of new markets or innovative client services in aerospace & defense sector
Working Conditions:
- Headquarter: Warsaw as primary place of work
- Willing to work at client’s locations mostly across Europe, but also other locations, for short or long term
- Willing to travel min. 50% (annual) of time and could be more. Travel is required and may be 80%-100% on a weekly basis on some projects (typically Monday – Friday) for some periods during the year
- Minimum bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of strong aerospace & defense industry background, work experience in an aerospace & defense company or in the aerospace & defense domain of leading consulting company
- Extensive knowledge of current trends and market developments at aerospace & defense sector
- Consulting or functional experience in one or more of the areas like:
- Process analysis, design and improvement (Six Sigma certificate would be an asset)
- Project/Program Management including set-up and running Project Management Office, KPI definition & reporting
- Business analysis of functional/process requirements related to system implementation
- Cost reduction, EBITDA optimization,
- Business case/business plan development (top line and costs)
- Product and services innovation;
- Change Management including complex stakeholder management
- Training & performance support (communication, training including e-learning support, testing, coordination and monitoring)
- Renowned certificate for project management (PMI, Prince) would be an asset.
- Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Consulting and project delivery experience - preferred
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) is required
- Good level of the other foreign (EU) language e.g. German, French, Italian and Spanish would be strong asset
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications competencies
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented and distributed delivery environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
