As the Aftersales Manager you will be responsible for establishing and managing the comprehensive aftersales process for our company, which specializes in selling semi-trailers across Europe. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining a highly efficient service network, and optimizing parts delivery to support our customers' needs.
- Service Network Development and Management: Build and maintain a robust service network across Europe, including service centers (based on partnerships with existing external service providers), field technicians, and repair facilities.
- Parts Inventory and Delivery: Develop parts delivery and stocking process, management of parts inventory, ensuring availability and timely delivery to customers and service centers.
- Warranty: Create and manage a warranty department, including the development of warranty policies, claims processing procedures, and warranty data analysis.
- Claims Flow: Create and oversee the claims flow process to ensure efficient resolution, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
- Data Analysis: Develop strong reporting procedures to synthesize data from aftersales operations and warranty claims, enabling data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
- Customer Experience: Enhance the overall customer experience by implementing customer-centric service standards, feedback mechanisms, and support systems.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for service and repairs, ensuring the highest level of safety and reliability.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a team of professionals responsible for various aspects of aftersales operations.
- Cost Control: Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize the aftersales process for cost-efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to aftersales and customer service
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience in aftersales, customer service, operations management, or warranty management within the automotive or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of semi-trailer products, their maintenance requirements, and warranty practices would be a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in project management, process improvement methodologies, and warranty management software.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in negotiating and managing relationships service partners.
- Strong vendor selection and contract negotiation skills.
- Ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws and other regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools to monitor and analyze the performance of various aftersales operations processes.
- The ability to use data to make informed decisions and optimize program effectiveness.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, clients, and internal teams.
- Addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
