Job Description:
- Headquarter: Warsaw as primary place of work
- Willing to work at client’s locations mostly across Europe, but also other locations, for short or long term
- Willing to travel min. 50% (annual) of time and could be more. Travel is required and may be 80%-100% on a weekly basis on some projects (typically Monday – Friday) for some periods during the year
- Minimum bachelor's degree in one or more of the following disciplines, i.e. Finance, Banking, Economics, IT, Mathematics or Physics
- 2+ years of experience working on various projects with an international exposure
- Consulting and/or project delivery experience will be strong asset
- Experience working on multiple strategy projects (experience from top strategy and management consultancies, private equity houses or investment banking is required)
- Demonstrate experience in at least two of the following specialization areas:
- M&A Strategy and Portfolio Strategy
- Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances
- Carve-out / Divestiture
- Target Screening
- Commercial, Operational and IT Due Diligence
- Transaction Management and Execution
- Post-Merger Integration
- Business case development (incl. scenario and sensitivity analysis)
- Financial modeling and financial statements analysis
- Sector knowledge in any of the following industries:
- Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets)
- Communications, Media & Technology
- Resources (Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities)
- Retail & Consumer Goods
- Healthcare & Pharmaceutics
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a flair for detail
- A high degree of comfort with M&A, strategy frameworks and strong quantitative skills to develop financial or operational models and conduct data analysis
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) is required
- Good level of the EU foreign language e.g. German, Italian, French, Spanish would be strong asset
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications competencies
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented and distributed delivery environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), knowledge of VBA will be a strong asset
