QA Manual Engineer with experience in mobile and web automation is required. In this role, you will own responsibility for the quality of these products and work closely with Software developers (iOS, Android), Product Management and help cultivate a quality mindset, coach and advocate for quality while assisting teams with software testing practices.
Implement test tools and frameworks that will help us release with confidence, work with teams to understand test automation gaps and implement coverage, work with teams to make testing an integral part of the software development process, coordinate testing efforts across teams to ensure delivery of high-quality features, assist in driving adoption of best practices in testing and maintainability.
You will join a team focused on mobile application development (Android, iOS, mobile applications)
Ideally you can demonstrate experience in:
- Agile practices - Scrum/Kanban
- Identification and documenting test cases for multi-component systems from requirements.
- Coordination with developers on bug fixes and required modifications.
- Execution test cases and document software defects.
- You are able to take ownership of software defects backlog from discovery till closure.
- Good analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Providing Test Summary & Test Completion Reports.
- Assisting in project requirements analysis.
- Documentation including reviewing Functional Specifications, Detailed Design documents, Unit Test documents and contributing to Test Specifications for Feature, System and Solutions Testing.
- Minimum 3 years experience with handset testing and handset platforms in particular Android, iOS
- Experience with Usability, Functional and Regression testing.
- Have a testing mind-set with a passion for quality.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to deliver quality documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills to focus on the tasks at hand.
- A positive and enthusiastic outlook both within the team and when working with stakeholders
