AP (Accounts Payable) Team Leader

Summary
Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensures timely and accurate recording of invoices, processing of payments and monitoring of vendor statements in accordance with established service levels and company policies
- Provides consistent high quality service, complying with
- Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance
- Indicators (KPI’s), escalating to Director as appropriate
- Assists the team in maintaining accurate vendor account balances; serves as a resource to resolve vendor and account issues
- Prepares reports and monitors established metrics; assists the team in meeting department objectives by proactively adjusting approach to achieve desired outcomes
- Review and aged open items to ensure proper action/follow-up
- Utilizes and analyzes data to identify trends, issues and irregularities in financial accounts
- Provides direction, supervision and training of direct reports. Establishes performance expectations, provides coaching and feedback, evaluates performance and recommends corrective action
- Primary point of contact for Country/Regional
- Business Controllers and Buyers for complex issues
You have
- University degree
- Excellent communication skills, English C1 level,
- Commends in German will be an asset
- Leadership experience is a must
- High standards of collaboration and strong ability to build relationships with internal and
- external stakeholders is a must
- Experience in managing a team
- Several years of professional experience in F&A processes
- Experience in collaborating in multinational and dynamic environment
- Ability to adjust to rapidly changing conditions
